The Librarian

Inv misc_book_08As you step into the dimly lit room you're hit by a wall of coldness, the room is practically freezing when compared with the warm climate outside the guild hall! After getting over the initial temperature shock you look around, seeing shelf upon shelf filled with books and scrolls, barely visible in the dim light, but no one else seems to be around.

Trying to find your way you take a few steps forward but stop as unlit candles suddenly flare up with a hiss, burning with an eerie color and as you move closer it actually feels like the flames on the candles are cold, not warm.

Being mesmerized by this strange phenomena you jump in surprise when you suddenly hear a voice a slight distance away. "Can I help you?"

As you look around you spot a figure sitting at a desk behind a mountain of parchments, scrolls and books, staring at you through glowing sinister eyes. "Can I help you?" the figure asks again, sounding a bit annoyed at not getting a response the first time around.

"I was told I could come here for information about the guild...?" you answer quickly as the eyes seem to narrow into a piercing glare.

"Well well, a seeker of knowledge is it? Very well then, if you would follow me...", the figure rose as more candles flared up, revealing a Forsaken that looked far less sinister than what you'd imagined the figure to be, and started walking down the floor that separated the shelves. Walking after him you could swear it got colder the closer you were to the librarian, who then suddenly stopped by a large table surrounded by shelves containing books. "All of the guilds history is kept here, penned by none other than myself. If there is anything specific you're looking for, feel free to ask, I keep records of everything that goes on with the guild and it's members, including their history as well, in case that would ever be of interest."

Officers
“I suppose you want to know about the leadership of the guild while you`re learning this information, yes?” The librarian sighs, it is seemingly not a subject he likes to discuss.
“Well, there`s three names you should note. First off is the guild leader, Inny, and no, this isn`t the same Inny as the old leader. After the Cataclysm occurred people discovered there was money to be made from guilds and as such this guild was mostly bought up by a pair of Goblin siblings from a few remaining members that had settled down into normal lives, the only one to refuse to sell any portion of the guild was a certain frost mage but they got control over most of the guild anyway.
So, the Goblin warrior Inny, he`s taken the leadership of the guild and while he does promote a similar behavior and guild goals as the previous Inny and is seemingly not so addicted to money as most Goblins are, personally I don`t trust the little mongrel further than I can throw him!”
The librarian kicks the side of a shelf in annoyance before continuing.
“Anyway, the next one to take note of is Inny`s sister, a Goblin rogue named Riljrak, again not to be confused with the old Riljrak, he`s been gone for years without a trace… Amusingly enough she is pretty much like the old one, just as loud and rude but again, she gets the job done. She is pretty much the second leader of the guild and deals mainly with the leadership of the raiding parties, you`d do well to stay on her good side because believe me, she wouldn`t think twice about disposing of you if you mess up too much…”
The librarian laughs quietly to himself, making it hard to tell if the advice was a joke or a warning, then he stares at you, as if analyzing your reactions.
“Lastly, the third person you should take note of in the guild is the Forsaken  frost mage Ghelgath, or well… hehe… me. The frost mage I mentioned before that refused to sell off the guild was me, and I suppose that`s why I still have a position in the guild itself, but anyway! I`m the lorekeeper of the guild, I know everything there is to know about the guild and it`s members and I have a very good memory. I`m also the one to direct complaints of any kind at or simply to vent your annoyance over something at. Also, if you want someone to record your story or something as such that can be arranged, provided there is time to spare.
I guess you could say I`m an advisor of sorts, although some may call me a mascot but don`t listen to them! In any case, if you want specifics I suggest you read this tome…”
The librarian hands you a large book with the guild crest emblazoned on the cover.
