The Forsaken librarian seems oddly pleased at your request for the history of the guild as he drags out a few books from a shelf and places them on the table.
"The history of the guild eh? Now that is a tale that is quite long and stretches across many a year.. The guild itself was founded by an Orc warrior named Inny, a bit of a brash character if I may say so myself but a good enough leader nonetheless. Originally it was just a group of friends but as time went on the guild grew with friends bringing in friends and from reputation and eventually we spread out around Azeroth, eventually becoming a large and experienced enough guild to form raiding parties to do battle against any threat in most places in the world.
We did battle against Ragnaros and his forces in the Molten Core, the blood god Hakkar in the ancient troll city of Zul'Gurub, Nefarian and Onyxia in their lairs and even the old god C'thun and it's forces we challenged in battle, under the leadership of Inny and a Forsaken rogue named Riljrak, who took the role as the commanding officer in battle, a very rude character I should say, he yelled more than he spoke normally but atleast he got results and the job done.... Ahhh, those were the days..." The Forsaken sighed as he reminisced about past glory before continuing. "When the Dark Portal reopened we were quickly at work in Draenor as well to aid in the rebuilding process and doing battle with the Legion. We challenged the Legion prince Malchezaar in the tower of Karazhan, we battled Gruul the Dragonkiller and the pit lord Magtheridon in their lairs, challenged Lady Vashj and her forces in the Serpentshrine Cavern and Kael'thas Sunstrider in Tempest Keep, fought Doomlord Kazzak in the mountains of Hellfire Peninsula, did battle with Illidan and his forces at the Black temple and even challenged Kil'jaeden and his forces at the Sunwell Plateau...
At this time we were even among the 3 greatest guilds in Azeroth!" The librarian spoke fondly of the past events as if he could see them infront of his eyes as clear as day and for a moment seemed to be lost in his memories.
"Ahem, sorry about that... now where was I...? Oh yes, after the battles at the Sunwell Plateau... As I'm sure you know, a while after Kil'jaedens defeat, Arthas, or the Lich King if you prefer, invaded Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms from Northrend.
Needless to say we travelled there as well to do battle against the Scourge and other threats... We battled the Scourge wherever we found them, we fought Kel'Thuzad and his forces in the dread citadel Naxxramas, we battled the black dragon Sartharion, we challenged the crazed Malygos – The blue dragon aspect and we even challenged the old god Yogg-Saron and his forces, even the corrupted avatars of the Titans, in the Titan complex of Ulduar... And while at this time we were the number one guild in Azeroth that is also when the story ends, we lost many members when doing battle against Algalon the Observer, including the guild leader Inny. The guild pretty much collapsed after that, a dedicated few remained while some left and joined other guilds, while the rest formed a new guild." The librarian sighs, although this time it seems more out of irritation than nostalgia.
"Well, that's pretty much it for the history of the guild really, if you want specifics of every event you'll have to wait until I finish penning down the chronicles, heh, the same goes for the latest events in the guild, I can tell you that there's new leadership and that we're starting to head towards our former glory but that history is still too fresh to be really counted as guild history." The librarian seems to laugh a bit to himself about the last comment as he closes the book and hands it over to you.
